It doesn't help alot, but it does help some...EXFOLIATE, EXFOLIATE, EXFOLIATE, EXFOLIATE. Use a body scrub and loofah, nail brushes and pumice are a bit more extreme but do the job as well. Good Luck!!!

The first thing you can do is exfoliate! Use a scrub. I would recommend St. Ives Invigorating Apricot scrub---the walmart equivalent is the same, only a buck cheaper. It supposed to be used as a face scrub, but I think it's too harsh for the facial skin, so I use it as a body scrub. The scrub has cornmeal and walnut shell powder in it that help exfoliate. This will help to get rid of the dead skin cells on the surface which can make skin appear dull. Also, soak a Q-tip in Hydrogen Peroxide and brush it over your elbow and let it dry. It will bleach your skin a little and lighten the color. Hope this works!

Mix a mild scrub to a bleaching cream. Massage this on the affected area. Scrub will remove the dead skin & bleach will help lighten the area.
Try applying lemon juice.
All the best!!

Try applying lime to the discoloured area. Do this everyday, and wash off after 15 minutes. This is a natural bleach for the skin! You could also apply lime to the affected area at night once in a while, and wash off in the morning when you bathe.

to lighten dark elbows, you may apply milk powder added with little honey and rub it well on the elbows also put some lemon drops on it. you may apply tomatoes or papaya paste too. this should be repeated for quite sometime. you would definitely find a glowing skin gradually. atleast you try this procedure for one month to observe radical change. eat nice nourishing food.

almond oil!
Also try this;
take the almonds (peeled) and soak them in water overnight and then crush them and mix them with one egg white and add few drops of rose water and one table spoon of lemon!
rub in the paste in your elbow, leave it on for a while than wash it off! I hope it works
