i saw this movie once when i was a kiddo and it was like....a really creepy movie and i think it was a sequel to The Wizard of Oz or something based on that? Does this sound familiar? Anyway, there was this empty house and this guy rolls around because he has a huge wheel instead of legs. and there was a river involved? and a girl was stuck in a tree or something on the riverbank? AHK! does ANYONE know the name of this movie?!? THANKS!

Return to Oz- from 1985
I loved this movie! It is much darker than the origional.
Plot summary: Dorothy, back in Kansas, can't stop thinking about Oz, and even believes that her friends have sent her a key. Auntie Em, worried for Dorothy's health, takes her to a famous doctor who works miracles with electricity. When Dorothy escapes from the treatment, she and a chicken named Billina find themselves in Oz. But when Dorothy tries to find her old friends in the Emerald City, she learns that they've all been transformed by the Nome King. And the evil witch Mombie wants Dorothy's head. It's up to Dorothy, Billina, and their new friends, the clockwork Tik-Tok (aka the royal army of Oz), Jack Pumpkinhead, and a Gump-thing to defeat Mombie and the Nome King and restore the rightful ruler of Oz to her throne.

Right, it is Return to Oz. The "Wheelers" have wheels on their hands and feet and that's how they get around, they're the bad guys Dorothy runs into. In the beginning, Dorothy escapes from this doctor by running to the river. Really great movie, I like it a lot better than the original Wizard of Oz, but I guess you have to see it before Return to Oz to follow the story.

I beleive it was return to Oz. DId it have Dorothy like on some sort of raft on the river??? And, I want to say that you got a better look at the Emrald City. Am I right? Those movies were creepy!
