It was meant to stir up trouble, however, it's main reason for doing such an ad was to show how (white) in color their product was but they used (people), instead of inanimate objects, knowing full well what the outcome would be! It was very sneaky advertising to say the least!

I hadn't heard about that until now and the picture was kind of disturbing. I can't believe in a 'civilized' world advertising companies would try to pull off such trash. I'll definately be thinking twice before I purchase anything else from Sony.

This ad would only be a problem in the U.S. and Sony did not run this ad in the U.S.

The only reason it's a problem in the U.S. is because of white/liberal guilt.

I really think it says more about the viewer by how they interpret it. Why does the first thing in your mind has to be hate and racism?

It does make me raise a brow. Why did they have to use humans in an aggressive pose to portray it? I don't get it.
