This world cup is still full of drama. However, the numbers of goals scored is definitely not as many. And good goals are also fewer in numbers.

There are still many quality players in this World Cup. This World Cup definitely brought out the lesser known players like Podolski, Schweinsteiger and many younger players into spotlight.

If you are talking about sensational ones, maybe Zidane who won the Golden Ball and who received the red card in the Final, could be considered one. But I can't say he is great like Pele or Maradona.

P.s. Sorry for deviating from subject in source but is true about my internal Divizia A vs WC 2006.

I agree with you. But I mean there's lots of new talented players on the field, but this world cup was somewhat a bit lack of energy from great team such as Brazil. Though, I was definitely entertained by the Ned vs. Por game, where they pretty beat the crap out of each other...that was fun. And Zizous' headbutting scene, I DEFINITELY BELIEVED THAT MATERAZZI DESERVED THE headbutting, he should'd been honored to be headbutted by one of the greatest player on earth.

I think there aas a lot of talent.
Watching a guy like Ballack, Robben, Appiah, Messi, Riquelme these were all entertaining players to me.

Tevez and Messi were both great, but they spent too much time on the bench, especially Messi. :P Yet another one of Pekerman's mistakes to fix in 2010.
