Very much right.
No one harmed him.
Every player is criticised when he doesn't perform.
He was arrogant to think that he was not out of form.
He refused to acknowledge that he needed to learn how to negotiate the bouncers. He is the only one to blame for his fall.
People in India always loved him when he played well. They still love him for the good work he did. But just because he played well some time back, he does not deserve a place in the team above those who are palying better cricket. One should not think it is an ill-treatment towards him.
Now he seems to have realised where he stands and what he needs to do. But he is still to convince people with his batting. As a bowler he does not have a chance.
