If your doctor did blood workup and ECG of the heart aswell and they came to the conclusion it is not angina or anything like that then I guess it is a form of reflux. It does mimic chestpain and it is hard to know the difference when a patient comes in at first. Some Mylanta soon tells the difference, if it stops the pains and burning then it is not your heart.
Never take it lightly though, if YOU think it is chest pain then go to the ER.

I get that with stress/anxiety and I went to the dr. Get checked and be sure.

as a veteran in this area....go to another doctor. a heart specialist, as quick as you can.
