why do the people on here who claim to be so educated have such mean spirited answers? A really educated person will be smart enough to help not hurt what do you think

Some people who claim to be educated are nothing more than educated fools.You should never belittle someone with a mean rotten answer.There are many who sincerely need a answer to a problem.I do admit some of the questions that have been asked are off the wall and not necessary.Some questions are serious and are looking for advice and help badly needed.Some people just don't know how to treat people and make them feel worst than ever,sometimes the simple answer to one's question is a big help.I want to be a help to someone and expect the same.We should all have common sense and respect .Answer with thought.In other words just think first and help if you can.

I'm not sure what education has to do with making fun of people, but, generally, smart people know that making fun of others is mean and pointless. Insensitive people have a difficult time putting themselves in someone else's shoes and get a kick out of making themselves feel superior by putting others down.

I think you figured it out for yourself when you said a truly educated person would be here to help. I think people just like having their opinions heard, even if they don't really know what they are talking about. Someone really educated on a certain issue or subject would want to enlighted others too, and don't have to rip on others to make themselves feel superior.

No, but uneducated people do. That is the only way that they can feel smart. Someone probably made them feel really stupid (their parents, classmates, etc.) and they want to get even. These are not happy individuals. It's one thing to be miserable but another thing to try and bring others down too.

Because they have shallow lives and can only feel good about themselves by making fun of anyone who they "think" does not know what they know.
Don't ever let that discourage you from asking questions. It is the only way you learn, and not everyone is a snob or arrogant.

Not all of them do, so don't judge by a few mean people you have seen. I'm in the gifted program and I certainly help anyone even if they don't ask. I personally love helping people.

some people just come on here to get their frustrations out on nice people. I personally like to answer questions in a helpful manner.
