Can some of you agree that this was inevitable. The game is now on under a microscope for the indescretions of top paid players. I don't think this will make baseball different, but if I was a ball player today and the future unknown to me, I would rather be remembered as a quality player than marred by making bad decisions regarding illegal substances.

Barry waited much too late to try and change his image. He's always been a surly human being and I'd hate to have to be around him for a full season.

C'mon Barry, confess and throw yourself on the mercy of public opinion. Or are you afraid that some fans (like me) have had enough of the prima donna attitude and would like to run you out of town?

Yes you are right. However, Major League Baseball has a lot to answer for because they were so slow in introducing drug testing. This allowed the cheats to escape unpunished for so long.
