clearly PANCHO has never watched a game with Zidane, cause Zidane has been the best at his position and at the game for the past 10 years Ronaldinho hasn't even came close to Zidanes play on the field. Zidane did something that only he knew what the other p[layer said and he did what he did, and their is nothing that will change that. I'm an Argentina fan and i loved his play and i will miss him. he will always be remembered as one of the greats to ever play the game we all love FOOTBALL.
P,S just get over it, its been done and now its over and Italia won the World Cup and we have 4 more exciting years till 2010. GO ARGENTINA GO. MESSI MESSI MESSI!!!!!!!!!!!!

HELL NO. In fact, the world cup should be given to LES BLUES for their achievement. Italy stoled the world with their nasties way by insulting and provoking Zidane. He is not a robot for godsake... Zidane is a human like all of us. When someone insulting me and calling me and my mother terrorist, I surely will kick his dick once for me, twice for my family, and five times for the whole world. How poor Materazzi is..

He is not the best player of the world and he never was. He is a great footballer and he was just awarded the best performer in this tournament alone. I dont think he should receive this award but I also dont think FIFA will revoke it.

And this is for Cary I. Nobody is saying he is not a great footballer,. but I never remember receiving an award for the best ever. Pele, Zico, Maradona and many more were also great players. Who said anythign about Ronaldinho. Before you insult someone read their answer.

I doubt it. Materazzi wished that Zidane's family would die and apparently Zidane's mother was seriously ill and admitted to the hospital at that time.

Personally, though I'm so sick of Zidane and his fans at the moment, I don't think he will or should. One stupid thing (although extremely stupid) should not alter all that he has done for his team before.
