There is a possibility. let me answer your question with an example.
Suppose you are travelling on a train, which is at a speed of 40 kilometers perhour (KmPH). you have an apple in your hand which you throw in the direction of the motion of the train at the speed of 20 KmPH. what do you think would be the speed of the apple for you?
Is it 20 KmPH or 40 KmPH or 60 KmPH.............................

it is actually 20 KmPH as you are moving along with the train and constant speed becomes your stable point.
Now lets see another point of view. what would be speed of the apple for a person who is standing 20 feet away from the train tracks. is it 20 KmPH or 40 KmPH or 60 KMPH.............................

it is actually 60 KmPH, as for the person standing outside is not in motion and the velocity of the apple adds up with the velocity of the train because of the distance at which the person is standing, hence 60 KmPH.

Now, lets see another situation.
what if you are travelling on the same train with the same velocity and you have flash light in your hand. you flash the light in the direction of the motion of the train. what do you think woul be the speed of the light from the flash light for you (speed of light = 107925284.88 KmPH). is it 40 KmPH or 107925284.88 KmPH or 107925324.88 KmPH.............................

the answer is 107925284.88 KmPH, the original speed of light as the speed of light does not change regardless the speed of the source.
Now, lets another scenario. what would be speed of the light from the flash light for the same person who is standing at 20 feet away from the train tracks. will it be 40 KmPH or 107925284.88 KmPH or 107925324.88 KmPH.............................

the answer is 107925284.88 KmPH, the original speed of light as the speed of light does not change regardless the speed of the observer as well.

now, something has give up as the common theory for velocity is:

v (velocity) = d (distance travelled) / t (time taken)

in the first scenario where you threw the apple along the motion of the train (for you and the observer) the formula stands correct, but in the second case it doesn't fit at all. so what changes in the theory. it is the time that changes with other factors staying constant.

now for example, at some point of time a shuttle is built which can travel with the velocity of light, and you are sitting in it to go to Andromeda galaxy (the nearest galaxy to Milky Way, our galaxy), which is 2.9 million light years away. if travel for 1 lightyear (9460528400000 Kilometers) and decide to go back, it would actually take you nearly 20 years, but nearly 250 years would have passed on earth. Now, you would like to go back in time where you started..........................

Sorry, its only a one way ticket!!!

the answer to the second part of your question is to build a shuttle that could travel at the speed of light. once this is achieved, there's no stoping you...

yes! It is a proven fact that we can travel through time except that the U.S. Government has kept it a secret for a long time. Albert Einstein was the first to come up with such a theory which latter scientists put it into testing phase with inanimate objects. They got good results so they tested it on animals however the results weren't the same. most animals died or were torn in pieces or came back with abnormalities so they decided not to keep experimenting, untill several years later they tried it again except this time with humans on a ship. witnesses say that the boat with people dissappeared from Newark, NJ and four minutes later had appeared accross the ocean in another country however most humans onboard were dead, caught between the ships walls, or crazy. due to that, the government decided to keep this from the people however traveling through time is possible! How they did it......Electricity!!!

Actually, I think we are traveling in time or with time, not through time. Theoretically, yes time travel is possible, and maybe we're getting closer to eliminating practical obstacles now that there is more evidence and understanding of the nature of black holes.

There is no such thing as "time" except as a human concept required to separate events into past, present, and future. There is no such thing as time, as in "absolute time" where some Master Cosmic Clock ticks away the correct time for all the universe.

If you travel away from Earth at some velocity close to the speed of light and can somehow keep track of the passage of "time" back on Earth, you'd see clocks moving faster. If someone on Earth could keep track of the passage of "time" on your spaceship they'd see "time" moving slower. Which observer is right? Neither and both are right because there is no Cosmic Master Clock they can use as validation.

There's a way of traveling faster forward through time if that's what you mean. The effect is called time dilation and is part of Einstein's Theory of Relativity. The catch? You have to be traveling at relativistic speeds for any noticeable effects, we are talking close to the speed of light.

sure there has continually considered as limits to % on the grounds that human beings created boats. boats have what's understand as a hull %. hull % is the speed the position a sail boat can no longer bypass swifter contained in the water. the boat pushes a wave in the front of it and to climb over it it takes a lot extra potential.with the discovery of motor boats this became achievable as a jet nears the speed of sound it too begins pushing a wave this time of air stress. it became once idea you ought to no longer bypass swifter than the speed of sound. all of us understand this to no longer be authentic. so searching decrease back on the previous it seems achievable that faster or later lets go back and forth swifter than mild. the potential necessary must be extremely large and technologies is likely someplace round 1000 years away, yet i trust the human race ought to do it
