Each people may have a different reasons for being late and the first step is to understand why you are late.

To understand why you are late think of: Your plan, the time between places and the time you leave the origin.

1.Think of all the times you are late and ask your self at what time you arrived... do you arrive always 10 minutes late? then you may need to leave the origin 10 minutes before, do you always arrive late but some times 10, 30min 1 hour etc? then maybe you are not planning correctly the time it takes to get from one point to another...

2.what you did in the time between places...maybe your plan is ok but you aaaalways stop in the way for something a coffe a candy a windowshopping etc.. so add time in your plan to do extrathings on the way or just dont stop if you need to get somewhere else...

3.What you did when leaving the first place?...maybe your plan is good, you go directly to the next point but you never leave when you have to... remember you need to leave so leave...

4.You just forget you have something to do... well get an agenda and an alarm so you remember and something lets you know there is something else to do...

Once you understand why you are late create a plan or strategy to avoid the things that are getting you to be always late like the examples i added...

But at the end the main rules is Respect your own schedules and respecto others time. Cultures that you can find to be always in time are the ones they respect their schedules and most of all they respect others time.

2. Plan

3. Use an alarm

I tried turning my clocks back ten minutes. It did seem to help but it is hell trying to figure out why the television shows aren't coming on when they should! Also I now give myself and extra half hour added on to the time I think I can get something done. It works much better. I have even been early on occasion- but not often.

Start experiencing the honour of being early!

By always being late you disrepect the apointment and allow people to critisize you. Don't be the person that likes to be critized. Be yourself, on time!

The force is with you!

If you have an appointment at 5.30 make a note that the appointment is at 5.00 and same with everything else. Better early than late.

Maybe you have too much on your plate. Maybe you dread going to the place you're going. Reevaluate the importance of the places you are going. Maybe you can drop one or two of them. Or reschedule.
