Any misconduct should not be tolerated. Do you really think that you should judge the entire army or the US based on this one incident? Not to mention what was happening in that country before the war.

Key Facts

* Every two and a half minutes, somewhere in America, someone is sexually assaulted.
* One in six American women has been the victim of an attempted or completed rape, and 10% of sexual assault victims are men.
* In 2003-2004, there were an average annual 204,370 victims of rape, attempted rape or sexual assault.
* About 44% of rape victims are under age 18, and 80% are under age 30.
* Since 1993, rape/sexual assault has fallen by over 64%.

First we gather the facts about what happened, then we either charge them or dismiss, then if we charge, we try them before a jury or military justice system to determine guilt. If they are found to be guilty of this crime then they should be punished according to how any other that committed such a crime is punished. No more, no less.
But it sounds like you would wish to be judge, jury and executioner and have already made up your mind before all of the facts are in. We have a fair justice system, let it work as it does most of the time.

And to the person who replied to the original question that we should turn them over to the insurgents. You should say the terrorists. And I think we should turn you over to them and see what happens. You can tell them how much you love them before they kick you to death and hang you from a bridge.

I would send "em to reconstruct Iraq or Afghanistan, like... forced labour...

no need. the Al-Qaida already stands the Qhisash law. An eye for an eye, a life for a life. Iraqi's Al-Qaeda already killed another 3 US soldier from the same brigade those rapists come from, mutilated them, videotape them and send it to their link in the name of "their dishonored sister".

Now how do you feel as an American ?

In a better world, (if they are truly guilty, which I seriously doubt) they would be shipped to the Federal Mall in DC, stripped naked, flogged to severe bleeding and hanged as traitors. Their actions will lead to the deaths of hundreds, if not thousands, of service men and women in the next decade or so. People in the armed forces who would do such things are bigger, more dangerous enemies of America than the terrorists themselves.

DEATH TO THE ENEMIES OF LIBERTY!!!
