I know I can email them to myself and others, but is there a way to download them by connecting directly to my computer? I have a Samsung A640 phone but I can exchange it for another if I need to.

You can pay a visit to your phone shop and buy an adapter for your phone to computer via USB.
Hook it up to your computer and you'll be able to download all your pics to your hard disk or save them somewhere else.
You will not need to have extra software installed for that to work if you are using Window XP which will auto detect its presence.
Hope this is of some help to you. Cherio.

That site states that you can connect it to your computer Via USB cable which you can probably buy on ebay.....

Or at the samsung site, or at the store your got it at. Hope I helped. I look on the sprint website, looks like its not there, but the usb cord should be around. You can then connect your phone to your computer and movie pictures from your phone to your computer, and vice versa.
