yes, my dad. he used to be heard more than seen though. My dad died in 1998 when I was 17 and my sister was 15. While we were still living at home my sister and I would smell a familiar wet cigarette smell like when he would throw his cigarette butt in the toilet. There was only a very small area it could be smelled in, like a curtain just as you walked into the bathroom but not once inside the bathroom or outside it either. He used to knock the garbage bag upside down from time to time, but only if it was tied already. He opened cupboard doors in the kitchen, one specifically most of the time, now even though we haven't heard it for a few years, my son, 20 months old, will go right for that one door and open and close it many times over. Once me and my sister were fighting over something, probably that she was taking too long in the shower when we were already late for going out somewhere. The light bulbs both blew out of their sockets at the same time without shattering the glass or detatching the metal wire inside the metal end casing. He is the only explanation we have for that as it was right on cue for when he would have ended an arguement if he were alive and there at the time. My mom never smelled the cigarette smell until after both of us had moved out. I have a feeling that he is still there watching over my mom. I kind of had the same feeling that he was there when I was giving birth to my son. He died before he had any grandchildren or before either of us finished high school for that matter. He missed my wedding, but it felt like he was there for a little while. My grandfather was seen by a half dozen close friends right after he died, like he was making his rounds saying good-bye. Most of the family was there at the house, and a neighbor swore that she saw him outside looking in the bedroom window for a sec then was gone. The time she said was within 10 minutes after he died and the window in question is on the second floor of a big country house. Right around the same time the visiting nurse woke up crying already knowing that he had just passed away because she had seen him as well, she lives no where near the house. My sister and I were still at home then and we knew he was gone before mom even got home, no one had to call us and tell us. My cousin's daughter is 8 and she has seen her grandmother all her life, I used to sit and watch her staring and giggling at a wall when she was little, a year or so ago she told her mom that she had been seeing her grandma, her popa who had died recently at the time and my grandfather who had died almost a year before that. I wonder if my son is seeing my father or grandfather as he sits in bed sometimes and though he doesn't talk much yet it sounds like he is having a baby talk conversation with someone else in the room.

No, but I moved into an old house and one day when I came home I smelled pipe tobacco in the dining room like someone had just smoked in there. I was not afraid, it was strangely comforting.

I was washing my hand when through the mirror I noticed a woman dressed in white was gliding behind me. I turned my head but could not verify the presence.

Yes! When I was 2 and my brother was 4. It was a little boy and we played with him late at night. My parents would always wake up and put us back to bed.

I do have experience, but I still dont believe in this. I still think the experience may be because of my troubled mind. But my wife had a bad experience.
