i own the dvd's and to tell the truth, the last episodes pretty much suck
the first ones were sweet and tender among funny as hell (like Duffless at the end when Homer finally sees how drunks really are or when Lisa and Bart do ice hockey and hug at the end) thos were episodes, not the simpsons goind to china, i think they should really really finish the series before it drowns in shame, like seinfield did before lowering their quality, they prefered to end the series

I like the Simpsons, I enjoyed the first ones, the middle ones, and the newer ones. I think people take to much time being a critic, instead of actually just enjoying them. I like to just spend my sundays with friends, a smoky doky moky and some wine, they funny as hell to me:)

I'd hate to be a staff writer for "The Simpsons" team. The show is what.....18 years old now? Bart and Homer's high wild ride of social superstardom has long diminished. To go in and pitch a episode idea only to have the roomful of other writer team members together yell "That's already been done!" is too much pressure for me.

The first years of The Simpsons were bust gut hilarious; I really haven't kept up with any recent episodes. I watched an episode about 5 or so months ago......and something's amiss there.

I think the Simpsons have been one of the most important sitcoms of all time. For almost 20 years the characters have developed, yet have not aged a single day. The writers have done a great job of moving them through time, yet not letting them be dated.

I am also amazed that Marcia Wallace and Julie Kavner have stayed on so long. Here you have 2 great sitcom actresses who cut their chops in the 70's, AND are still sucessful in the 21 century.

I do think it is time to give a final episode, just for the actors sake. I love all episodes. I just plain love the Simpsons!

The Simpson's has gotten kinda stale ever since everyone realized how funny they COULD be (Family Guy). But they have gotten kind of better lately since the lag.

I hate the Simpson's. It ranks right up there with Family Guy and South Park. They are all stupid shows.

The seasons in the middle where the best, the first ones weren't funny and the new ones try too hard.
