I work a manual labor job, and it's not the only show in town. If our pay was suddenly dropped by 50 percent, the factory's number of employees would drop by 100 percent.

A good rule of thumb from what I've witnessed is that a factory will pay enough so people will not quit. Employees do just enough so they won't get fired.

Depends on the job....if I was financially stable enough to do that and I could have my dream job, then sure! It also depends on your salary to begin with....if you started off at 2 million per year then half wouldn't be so bad. Good question!

A well reputed and established company will not do something like giving you a half pay. In short, this particular company must be a worthless one n obviously i personally will not work for such a company

Compared to not having a job, I think I would take it. Better than collecting unemployment as I sit on my *** all day wasting good people's money
