There may be nothing wrong. The baby may be sleeping. Try drinking some juice or shifting positions. Lay on the opposite side that you normally do. If you don't feel something after this then call your doctor and check. They do expect calls like this from time to time and can help you with more ideas. Good luck!

It is natural to worry over the smallest things this late in your pregnancy. If you are really worrying give your OB/GYN's office a call there should be someone on call that can answer your question. If you can't reach someone there call your local emergency room they can tell you how many times your baby should be moving in a day. Usually a doctor will have a woman keep a journal of how many times and how often a baby moves during the last few weeks of pregnancy. Hope everything is fine, good luck and congratulations on your new addition.

I know how you feel right now. I was as paranoid as you when I was pregnant last year. My son is now one year old. I attended a lamasse class before I gave birth and was advised to monitor the baby's movement, 10 movements in an hour, most especially when the baby is 32 weeks and up. I did and I panicked when I didn't feel him moving. Normally, drinking something cold or eating something sweet would encourage some movement but at that time, it didn't seem to help. Well, I actually ended up in the hospital requesting for a fetal heart monitor to be attached to my tummy to check if my baby was alright. Thank God he was alright so he may have been just asleep then but I didn't regret having gone to the hospital for the check-up for my peace of mind :), just in case... better to be safe than sorry.

Don't sweat it! first lay down someplace quiet and alone, and drink a huge glass of water with lots of ice. then just lay there and be quiet and still. You will probably notice more if you are just sitting there waiting for it without anything to distract you like TV or radio or husband. You can also try provoking the baby by taking a vibrating massager and placing it firmly against some part of you stomach that appears to be a major part of baby's body, and turn on high to see if you can startle it! Don't press really hard, just like when the doctor presses with the Doppler to listen to heartbeat. If you still don't notice any movement, call the doctors office, and the answering service will probably hook you up with a nurse to talk with! :)

You need to call the hospital RIGHT NOW!!!! It may be nothing at all, when you get that far along , alot of the times the baby doesnt move as much because they dont have much room. But anytime you are in doubt you need to contact your doctor or midwife. Good Luck !!!!! I'm a mother of 3 and can understand your concern. But I am sure you and the little one will be fine!!!

babies sleep lol!!! some days the baby wont be as active as other days, cuz babies have bad days jes like we do. Also like if we are out and about, the baby is usually sleeping alot cuz the movement rocks em to sleep. But when we lay down to sleep, they usually wake up:)

I am sure everything is fine. She might be a sleep. If you are that worried go to the hospital. If you relax it will prob. move. Take a bath and relax. Good luck.

The bigger the fetus gets the less it will kick as there is less room for her kick and move around my fiance is 34 weeks and the baby don't kick her nearly as much as she used to kick.
