i just installed a new dvd rewriter but it does not auto play... i also tried my flash drive same...?

Double Click on "My Computer". On the drive letter for your DVD burner drive, right click and choose "Properties". One of the tabs that shows will be "Auto Play"....click on that tab, and then set up the choices the way you want them. Good luck.

First what OS are you running ? if it is Windows XP look in Device Manager to see if your drive is recognized, and is your DVD RW showing in My Computer, check all connections, depending on your OS have you loaded Drivers, a few things to check.
