The "treasures" of Tutankhamun have been marvelled at since their discovery by Howard Carter in 1922. It took a decade to catalogue, remove and conserve the thousands of items in the small tomb. A few of the items are displayed here and on following pages to be added as time permits. The two innermost sarcophagi are displayed in the Cairo Museum, while the outer most one still holds the mummy of Tutankhamun and resides in his tomb in the Valley of the Kings.
Take a look at this website it may be useful.

The quartzite sarcophagus and the outer-most of the 3 nested coffins remain in KV 62 - Tutankhamun's tomb in the Valley of the Kings - today. The lid of the sarcophagus has been replaced with a sheet of glass to allow tourists to view the interior of the sarcophagus and the coffin. The other two coffins, along with the vast majority of the contents of the tomb are in the Egyptian Museum, Cairo. A few items are in the Egyptian Museum, Luxor on the East Bank, opposite the Valley of the kings.
There is a collection of relatively minor objects from the tomb along with contemporary objects currently on tour. At present the exhibit is at the Field Museum Chicago. The current tour includes a "coffinette" canopic container - a small container shaped like a coffin and made of gold with inlay that was intended to contain the organs of the king. While I have yet to drag myself over to the Field and fight the crowd to see the exhibit myself, I am fairly certain that none of the coffins are included.

I saw this exhibit in LA and there is a sarcophagus on display, but not King Tut's - I believe his mother's is in the exhibit. There is a very small ceremonial coffin (pure gold) on display. The most beautiful think on display is the golden tiara that was on King Tut's mummy. The other amazing thing is a leather dog collar worn by one of the royal dogs - still intact and beautiful.
I saw the original exhibit in 1976 when King Tut's artifacts came here for our Bicentennial and it was a much more impressive collection. For instance, the beautiful golden funeral mask is not in this collection as it was in 1976. It is now too delicate to tour. There were many more of the famous pieces that toured at that time, like several well-known breast necklaces, one of the wooden goddesses that guarded the coffins and the golden chair depicting King Tut and his young wife.
This is a beautiful exhibit, but not as spectacular as the one in 1976. If you want to see the three coffins, you have to go to see them at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.

Second floor of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, which is like a vast, poorly labelled warehouse of ancient Egyptian everything.
