Me, I wouldn't give it to him. If I was ever in big trouble and I knew I could trust him completely, I'd rather go with him to exchange money in accounts so I could give my number, but he wouldn't need to know.
Husband or fiance, I'd say sure, go for it! They seem more permanent than 'boyfriend.' But that's just me ( :

Better he just give you the money, in the form of a check or money order, and then you deposit it in your account. You don't want him messing with your account and you don't want that number to end up in the wrong hands-if he wants to help, open a joint account or have him write you a check or get you a money order. Just tell him you are more comfortable doing it this way, and if he truly wants to help you, he'll understand. Best of luck to you!

I not sure how long have you been together. As a word of advice, you should not give him your account number. If he is sincere in helping you to solve your financial problem, he just need to talk to you and provide some advice to you.

I also dun know what field is your boyfriend working as but how close both of you are, dun give your boyfriend the account number.

You should just give it to him. Let him decide whether or not he wants to help you. You will always want to help your loved ones. Its an instinct... i mean its what a relationship is all about.. you want to be the hero for the one u love..

You can always pay him back when you're ready.. or return the money if you don't want it.. its no big deal..

besides, you're talking abt just the account number right? as in transfer the money from his account to your account number...? if he wants to personally handle your account... then i say.. no.. think wise dear...

He can't access your account (to take money out) unless he has your debit card and your PIN number or unless he has your ID and looks exactly like you. If he wants to give you money, depending on how close you are, just tell him your number. Then there's always the cash/check route as well.

I would tell him (well her) no, and politely say that it will not happen until your are legally bound (marriage). If he doesn't respect that, then you may be better off without him
