Yes, it's okay! I've kept my husbands name - only because I like it!
It's Comfort! Because you are feeling some sort of discomfort with this name on your jewelry business - there is a reason for this discomfort! It may be best not too! Use your first name - if you don't like that - use a first name that you always wanted!
Use a name that has no weirdness attached to it o.k. - this is your accomplishment - don't have any ghost, weirdness, or unresolved issues from the past - messing with your future success in your jewelry business! GO FOR IT!

It depends on how long she has lived with that last name. After awhile, it becomes part of who you are, even if the man you got it from is no longer in your life. Using it to name the business probably isn't the greatest thing to do, but if she's had the name for quite awhile, she has as much a right to use it as anyone.

It is legal to keep an ex-spouses name. When a person has been known by a particular surname for many years; they have children and other family ties by that name; been known professionally by that name; they will want to keep and use that name. It is perfectly reasonable to do so.

It depends on how long have had his last name. If you change your name after having his for many years, nobody is going to know who the hell you are. Especially if you are starting a business. I'm sure you've worked in the jewelry business for a while. Customers know you as the name you have when they meet you.

If you have established a bussiness client relationship under that name, you should keep it or your potential returning clients may be confused and go elseware. If you have a child w/ him u may ant to keep it or at least hyphenate your maiden w/ his. When you go to pick up your kids you don't need to go through the hastle of explaining to everyone why u don't have the same last name as your kid, other than those good excuses, yeas, it would look like u can't let go.

There are many reasons to keep the Ex's name
1)Children, it's less confusing if your name & theirs is the same.
2) If you have established yourself using that name..Business especially.

If they have children with their ex-husband then yes I would definitely keep the "married name", if the married name was easier to spell/pronounce or was nicer than the maiden name then yes keep it and if she opens up her own business she can call it whatever she wants...her business not yours really

If you were married for more than a few years, and you have children together I think its VERY appropriate to keep the name.

I kept my ex's name because we had small kids. Most women do for the same reason. If you have been going by it for years and that is the name people know you by why change it. I mean if you go back to your maiden name, most people probably wouldnt know it. So I'd say go for it.

I don't know but people usually take back their maiden name cause...you're not with them anymore. I think Ivana still has the last name Trump, shes well known for taking millions from Donald Trump whent hey divorced. But....I'm not sure if i got that mixed up with Ivanka Trump, their daughter lol.
