Is it safe to use Icy Hot on your back if your pregnant?

yes it is only on your skin. It will not penetrate your skin to effect your internal organs so therefor will not effect the baby. Good for you for thinking of your baby before your comfort. It is a relief to hear someone ask if icy hot will hurt not alcohol or something worse. Congrats on the little one!!!!

doctors told me not to use icy hot to use a heating pad for the aches

I am not sure. I did not use anything. Why not use a heating pad or warm bath. Better safe then sorry. I have been there and it can be painful, but i was always weird about meds.

I'd guess the back is okay, just nowhere around the tummy. Cold is okay anyway, it's just heat you need to be careful about.

yes it is ok i am due any day now and muscle rub was my best friend for my back... DO NOT USE IT ON YOUR STOMACH!!!
