I AM I AM I AM!!
Man those books are awesome and the movies are cool too, even though they stray from the books so much. I just look at them like two totally separate things, that way I don't get as pissed as the other HP fanatics.

I am 62 years old and I love Harry Potter. I did not pursue the Harry phenomenon from the start. There had been a great deal of talk about HP for three or four years before I read the first book. One day I went to a garage sale and "HP and the Sorcerer's Stone was priced at twenty-five cents ($.25). I decided to purchase it to share with my grandson who was about four or five at the time. Well I read the first one, then the second one and the the third. I told my friend how enthralled I was with the series, and that I was on my way to purchase book four. She said I'm sorry to tell you it hasn't been written yet. I was so disappointed.
When it came out, I was one of the first people to purchase it. Since then I have been putting my name on reserve lists to make sure I get a copy before they are sold out. Now, I am eagerly awaiting book seven. I have heard that two main characters will die in book seven. I predict that one will be Snapes. I am pleading with J.K. Rowlings that neither is Harry, Hermione or Ron.

I love Harry Potter. Also, if you are done reading the first 6 books and don't have anything else to read before the 7th one comes out, which should be 7-7-07, try reading the Ender's Game series by Orson Scott Card. If your a sci-fi fan.

I think they are great books, I remember when I was in High scool and all the kids called it harry pot-head, so I had to be different and read it... I LOVE THEM! They are great books, and I cant wait for the next one to come out... Also, try reading garth nix's trilogy... abhorrsen, lireal and sabriel, it is a little more grim, but it is about a necromancer(Has to do with dead ppl) But OMG, that was really good too!!!

It was a good idea but they should have done all the movies one after another like Lord of the Rings so that the children would not get so old so fast. Four years and they are already so old. Can they make it to seven before they look like they are in college? Sad thing to have to go through puberty on film.
