If life go the way you want it to be, there will be no challenges in it. In life there are a lot of different challenges like B/G relationship, working colleague relationship, friendship, family relationship etc.
In fact every different stages of life you face with different challenges and it is to test how you going to overcome the challenges and move on with your life. Everybody have different challenges in their own life.
You actually can't compare yourself with others. There may be similarities but it doesn't mean you have to overcome the challenges following your friends or others people method. Each method is unique and it may be suitable for your friend and not you. What people have do is just ot advice you tt's all.
If everything in life is like what you have, you will start to find it boring and you may start thinking to do something "funny". So please learn to accept that this is part and parcel of life

Well because i guss you can't but God can control it. He will help you thru your tuft times. Heres a verse from the Bible,

Because life just goes the way it is. If you change your thinking and "want" life just the way it is, then you will achieve your goal and life will be the way you want it to be. As the Borg say, "resistance if futile!"
