I know someone, I love the way she talks and her expressions. As for an opinion on 'people from northern Ireland' I can't say an overall one cause I would just be generalizing anyways. They are all different.

I don't personally know anyone from Northern Ireland, so I can't comment on that, but I believe they would be just the same as anyone else. I don't like the IRA because they are the sort of terrorists that I grew up hearing about, when they bombed a lot of English areas, I think that's over now though, and we have an even bigger threat from the 'new breed' of terrorist, the suicide bombers, we need to unite to get rid of those kind of nasty people, although, they do believe they're right and that they will get their rewards in heaven, but how can killing innocent people ever be a good thing?

I see everyone, no matter where they are from, as people, sharing the air I breathe, the night sky I stare at, the crust that I walk on, you know? We're all just....people! This isn't really positive, it's neutral. But that's how I see you, anyone. I don't have a specific stereotype for people from certain cities, states, or countries, like most people do. I think that's so stupid, to label people because of where they live. It's a persons actions that make me develop an opinion about them! I'm sorry about all the negativity being thrown towards you and all the other people who live in North Ireland.

I've got family there. I've visited and they were extremely hospitable, friendly and down to earth. I have to say though that with brown eyes and tanned skin they treated me like a bit of an rarity. Everyone has light skin and pale eyes there, very different from the south of Ireland.

I work in retail in a tourist area and we get a fair amount of people from N. Ireland. They are mostly pretty nice and sociable. They are very hard to understand due to their heavy accents.

People like everyone else. Good and bad. But for sure they are real unlucky to be stuck in between 2 groups of warring morons for all those years.

They should merge with the rest of Ireland, like Germany did.

Northern Irish, I am guessing, are no better or worse than Irish, German, Spanish, American, Russian, etc. They are people like everyone else, with the same wants, needs, and desires. No better or worse.

I go with Foo on this, well some of the way. I don't think they are slightly dim, but about the girls? Couldn't agree more, only because I share my bed with one! Temper like a hurricane but really loveable.
