The Ramones, they didn't just play punk music like alot of bands today, they were punk, for them it wasn't just music, it was a lifestyle. They stereotyped the fast and loud music and the stick-it-to -the-man attitude that they could kick the **** out of anyone. Either that or the Sex Pistols

I didn't really like much of the old Punk stuff.
The new stuff these days, while I do like some of it (MCR, AFI, etc.), I wouldn't classify as "punk". There's no real "punk" these days, just emo and diluted pop-punk.

first of all whoever said is was too loud and you didnt like it i would like us all looking at this to take a moment to think about how retarded and homosexual that person truly is
now
i think television sounds the best for more complicated stuff
ramones is best for the catchy simple tunes
velvet underground is best for the earlier stuff
rancid for the comeback in the 90s
and overall the clash
