You can do a few things to help treat this infection, depending on what you have around your house: 1. You can put some yogurt with live cultures onto a tampon and insert it into the vaginal canal. 2. You can put 2 or 3 of drops [that ONLY 2 or 3] of tea tree oil onto a tampon and insert it as above. 3. You can put 5 drops of tea tree oil into 10 ml of either olive or almond oil [almond oil is a better choice but you may not have it around] and insert it into the vagina. with a dropper. At the same time as treating the candida externally as above, you should be taking probiotic capsules three times a day to restore normal balance to your intestines. Stay away from sugar as much as possible, as yeast loves to eat sugar.

I cannot answer that question, because I am not using essential oils to rid (re-balance) my intestinal yeast.

I am on a pro-biotic - acidophalous (spelling approximate), bulgaris, bifidus capsule (very expensive), taking a candida cleanse pill that includes Pau d'Arco (also expensive), eating a strict, low sugar diet (when I don't backslide) and trying to rid myself of the yeast which is manifesting internally and externally.

I have lost over seven pounds on the diet alone, and my blood sugars have gone down. I understand intestinal Candida can increase the likelihood of diabetes.

quit feeding the yeast, kill the yeast, and replace the yeast with friendly flora. The favorite food of yeast is sugar. Therefore, to first get rid of yeast, you must be on a low sugar diet. Also, included in your diet will be restriction of foods which were made by the fermentation of yeast. These include vinegar, alcohol products especially beer, and soy sauce, among others.

Nonprescription products include grapefruit seed extract, uva ursi (an herb), garlic, olive leaf extract, colloidal silver and others including homeopathic products. Prescription drugs which have little to no side effects include Diflucan and Nystatin.
the replacement of your friendly flora is very important. This is accomplished by good quality acidophilus and related friendly flora products. There are numerous products on the market, many of which are no good. Don't be fooled into thinking you can buy inexpensive acidophilus products and expect them to be viable. The flora products are live cultures and must be kept refrigerated. The bottle should have a written guarantee of the number of organisms contained therein. The most common cultures are Acidophilus and Bifidobacteria.

Tea Tree Oil is good for vaginal, but I'm not sure you'd want to injest it....

Organic oregano oil is good for everything.

Generally, garlic and cumin (spices) are useful, they have antifungal properties. Cats claw (I think) is usually good for most things as well. You may also want to try some bacterial culture capsules with acidophilis, lactobacilica, etc. (I may have misspelt those).

Your best bet is a naturopath or a homeopath.

Good luck.

Oils? Huh?

Try yogurt from the health food store with live active cultures. Eat it once or twice a day for a week. You'll be back to normal in no time.

Pregnancy is also associated with hemorrhoids. These conditions lead to increased pressure within the hemorrhoidal veins that causes them to swell. Other conditions, for example chronic liver disease, may also cause increased venous pressure and may be associated with hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are very common and are estimated to occur in up to one-half of the population by age 50.
