a gander is a male goose, and the female is called a goose....so maybe if it's good enough for the female, it's good enough for the male?

This is a Food and Dining question. The actual proverb is "What is good for the goose is SAUCE for the gander".
What are you, 8 years old? Don't answer that.
Even if your question were regarding the social habits of geese, then the question would belong in the "Animals and Pets" section.
As you did not notice this, I think you should start your search in "Arts and Literature". Especially literature.
Alternatively, there is also the "Psychology" section as maybe you need mental health help. I check that section frequently as I'm passive agressive.
