Nobody knows for sure, Materazzi admitted insulting Zidane, and Materazzi said he is ignorant and doesn't know what terrorist mean(I don't buy it) ..this makes me suspesious that he said it..I think Materazzi wanted to say something serious to take Zidane of his cool and make it easier for his team to win

Well it is easy to insult someone like Zidane. Especially relying on Materazzi comment about "the insult words are said many times and are flying in the air"
Perhaps Materazzi assumed that Zidane does not have a decent legal father if you know what I mean. It is not an easy word to hear for Islamic person
In any way if Materazzi wanted to abuse Zidane with anti-Islamic curse why did not he speak to at least ½ of the team?
If there are any terrorists, it is responsibility of France blindly inviting so many Immigrants.

Only two people in this world can answer that question: Marco Materazzi and Zinedine Zidane. We can only speculate what words might have been exchanged. Although Materazzi is the "agitator" for the Azzurri (and just about every team in professional sports has an agitator), I believe that the only words exchanged were the usual type of insults and/or trash-talk that all athletes like to sling in the heat of the moment.
Oddly enough, there seems to be an over abundance of people who claim to know the "exact words" uttered by Materazzi. Now I watched the final match on television, and I certainly don't recall seeing all of these "knowledgeable people" on the field or on the sidelines within earshot of the verbal exchange!!! As I said, only two people in this world know for sure.

If Materazzi said he didn't call Zidane some terrorist, I doubt he did. I'm really mad..I just want Zidane's name to be cleared off. I don't see how insultin your opponent gives your team much pride. Zidane should have beated him up back in the change room instead.

No he made some comments about being a liar and about wishing his family ill will. Sadly, Zidane found his mother was ill that day.
