every time i talk to her, and she types something..its says over and over, like after 4 or 5 responses *so and so is using a different version of yahoo messanger. certain features may be unavailable. i asked her just now over net and she said she is using the new version they have out (yahoo messenger with voice, version B)?

Have her to go into control panel add/delete programs and delete it ... then go back and download it again

It might be possible that either you or your friend is using Different version of yahoo messenger
To just check the version ... In the messenger Window
Click on HELP -> ABOUT Yahoo messenger
there you see the version number below the logo.. Ask her to find that out and tell you.

tell her to uninstall All versions of YM and then load the 7.5 version fresh. I don't know if she is capable of doing registry edits or not, but I would also edit all YM versions out of the registry to make it "really clean" but you can probably get by with just uninstalling all versions from the "add/remove programs" feature of the Control Panel. Then install YM fresh with the most current version her operating system will support.

latest version (8) is worst than version 8. So don't bother to upgrade unless yr friend love to be in trouble.

the recent yahoo messenger is have facility to make calls those r computer to computer call i propose computing device to computing device calls loose that's include in yahoo messenger 8.a million messenger to cellular calls r paid toddler the guy whome u prefer to call should be on-line on the instantaneous and click on chat window and calls buttons thats all have relaxing

Well what i believe is that she might have customised yahoo msn.
Ask her to remove it ,Reboot machine and install yahoo MSN again with Default settings which means....just click on next ...next and we should be good with that....

uninstall yahoo msg and download it again.
this is the only way i can suggest.
