To get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.
After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. Tell your husband to ejaculate on his inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.
After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up with a pillow under your buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.
Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 5 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.

Yes, of course you can get pregnant. My period is irregular like yours, ranges from 6 weeks to 2 to 3 months unless I exercise regularly but my husband and I were still blessed with a baby boy. He is now one year old. My ob had to monitor my ovulation period though by using a transvaginal ultrasound. I also had to take certain medications. I suggest you have yourself checked by an ob :)

You are 18, old enough to make that choice for yourself. I have a friend who never had a normal period in her life. She bought an ovulation test and now has a sweet little 2 year old girl. I agree with the person that said prenatals, they are a great idea, they help get your body ready for the pregnancy as far as more healthy. Do not give up hope it will happen for you, probably when you least exspect it.....
Good luck hun!

Make sure you're getting proper nutrition bc that's one reason that many women's periods are irregular. I'm almost 21 and mine has pretty much always been irregular, and would still be if I weren't on the pill. I've heard that standing on your head after sex can help, but I don't know if it's a fact.

I am surprised at how many teens are trying to get pregnant these days. I am not going to try to talk you out of it...but if you are trying, maybe you should talk to your doctor.
Yes you can still get pregnant wither your period is regular or not.
you may want to already take a pregnancy test....and see your doctor they can help you out with that if its a problem.
also pre-natal vitamins is what they are called...
don't take this the wrong way, but have you done everything in your life that you wanted to do, do you have a really great paying job, or does your mate, Are you ready for not having any time to yourself, listening to non stop crying, spending a lot of nights stress , tired, and ready to pull your hair out......Do you live in your own home......Do you have a daycare picked out, a babysitter?

yes of course you can get pregnant! with your periods being irregular it is hard to figure when you are ovulating but you still do ovulate regularly no matter if your periods are regular or not.
so you are trying to get pregnant. go to the store and purchase an ovulation test kit and whenever your ovulating DO it and you will be very likely to be successful. good luck sweetie!

what is doesn't say is are you married.. I hope you are. Yes it is possible to get pregnant if your periods is irregular. It is more than possible. My wife always was irregular periods.. but we found it easy for her to get pregnant.
But if you still question the ease of getting pregnant you should get some medical advise. See a doctor.

The first thing is to find out why your periods are irregular - there can be many causes for this, serious and not-so-serious. Get thee to a gynecologist, lay it all out on the table, get tests run, etc., then the doctor will be able to guide you.
