The best band-in my opinion- is Tool. All four members are unique in their own way. From the deep lyrics to the awesome drummer, probably one of the best in the world, Tool has always put out great material that is one of a kind. I recommend starting out with the album "Aenima." Then back to "Undertow." Then see how you feel about them from there. Their sound is not very pop, so don't expect to like it right away. You have to appreciate something like this.

uh the best meaning the shiniest im gonna go with Grateful Dead ....sue me but they were and are the band on the run the Band as American and RWB as the American Lynch Mob...the sheer community alone they inspired deserves rocknroll nobel nod srry bono
