put tons of vaseline on them before you go to bed, then put on thick socks, depending on how bad your heels are they will be better in one or two nights.

go to the foot section at your favorite discount store (wally world) and go over by the pharmacy and look for the foot stuff. Get the gray stone and maybe some file type of things. Then you have to sit and use these tools on your dry cracked heels. You don't have to get them all the way down the first time, do this at least every 2 weeks. And find a good foot lotion

Here is what you need to do...and do this for a couple months ok?
TRUST ME

1. stop going outside barefoot-inside for the most part is ok
2. Get yourself a pumice stone, like Dr. Schols, it is a holey looking
rock that you scrape your skin with, the deeper the cracks
the longer it will take, DO THIS EVERY DAY but dont do it so
hard that it makes you bleed or anything
3. Get some extra virgin olive oil and massage the cracks with it
after you exfoliate with the stone DO THIS EVERY DAY
4. Every day make a hot soak for your feet. Use a tupperware
dish and fill it with hot hot water, as hot as you can stand it
put oil in it, and oatmeal. Soak your feet in this for 30 minutes
or as long as you can. After it dries put more oil on the cracks

DO THIS EVERY DAY FOR A COUPLE MONTHS
AND I GUARANTEE RESULTS

If you are gonna go outside put socks on your feet, you can
wear sandals...but for faster results wear shoes that require
socks they protect your feet.

I have used several different products(actually a lot) and have found that you have to be very vigilant and really take care of you feet every day at least twice. I am a diabetic and really NEED to take care of my feet as well as the rest of me. I use sea salt mixture/or pumice paste for cleaning. I use tea tree based cream/or foot balm then put on socks. Since I had to retire early(medically) I some times do this more than twice a day.

There are socks out there called moisturizing socks. They can be found in certain stores like Bed Bath and Beyond. You put moisturizer in the socks after a scrub, and it traps the moisture in. They are extremely benfitial for heels as well as dry cracked hands.

San dthem while they are dry with one of those foot sand paper thingys you get at the drug store.

Then put " Bag Balm" on them at night, cover with socks.
You find it in the pet section at places like walmart, comes in a green square can, with a pink rose on it.

Its for cow udders I think, really, But I swear it works.
When i was looking for it the girl at the store said thats all people buy it for is their feet.

Then try not going barefoot, I wear sandals all the time and mine crack bad if I dont take care of them.

Also taking Flax seed oil ( internally) is supposed to help with skin and eye moisture.

It depends on what is causing the cracking. If it is just dry skin, then any hand or body lotion should help.

If it is athlete's foot, you need an anti-fungal cream, powder or spray. I would recommend Lotrimin AF or the generic - clotrimazole.

If these don't totally solve the problem, then check out the "yeast" link at www.hufa.org - on the welcome page to see what systemic yeast syndrome (the same yeast - candida - that causes athlete's foot) may be doing to you.

First, before going to bed, soak your feet in warm water with scented oil or salts for 20 minutes. Then take a puiter stone (sorry, I dont know how to spell it) and scrub off all the dead cells and skin off. Lastly, rub on a thick moisturizer to the feet. Then enjoy a relaxing sleep.

soak your feet - get one of those mini cheese grater looking things (they are made for use on feet) to remove all the dry cracked skin. use a deep thick moisturizer every day - if you can stand it - put it on at night and cover with socks. i have to do this at least 3 times a week. i use the cheese grater thingy once or twice a week. hope this helps!!!

and for chris - who said i was fat - i am 107lbs!!! don't think that is fat. my boyfriend has smoother feet than i do - and he is a hard worker - owns a construction company!
