I can share with you a few different things to I do to make money at home from the Internet
(1) I have a website and a blog that makes me money, took me about six months to start making money. The trick is to have regular updated content and traffic and I have my blog help me direct traffic to my website etc.
(2) I sell stuff on the Internet, basically I sold extra items that I had at home or I go to yard sales, flea markets, discount bins at my local stores and resell them on the net. I sell small items on Ebay and larger items on a local auction site by doing this I save on shipping costs etc. Just go to Ebay for more info
(3) I also make a little extra pocket money by doing easy things like "reading emails", basically all I do is open a email, click on the link, wait for a timer to expire and move on to another email

Go for the internet business, which requires less of your time and the one that will not make you feel headache with web designing, or which require IT knowledge. Second, choose the internet based company which offer you the opportunity and at the same time giving you the convenience to start the business. Third, choose the business, which does not require big money to start it.
