Yup.

I think one reason for this is heuristics---we humans have so many thoughts and stimulations that we cannot possibly analyze every little thing at every moment...so we rely on heuristics.

I think this prevents overstimulation (and insanity) in a single person, but it is not cool when media portrays this to such a wide audience....especially to people unfamiliar with certain group....then they assume the group has only the characteristics depicted by the media.

Wow!! That replaced into very thrilling! convinced, i imagine the media and Hollywood percentage somewhat some the blame for stereotypes if particular minority communities. there is sufficient blame to bypass round, yet those are both greatest culprits. For the record, i imagine B.D. Wong is gorgeous! and they can say what they prefer, Bruce Lee is the guy! I by no skill have loved that action picture Breakfast at Tiffany's. some issues are in basic terms not humorous.

Yes indeed. Why else would the one person who gets interviewed after a tornado hits a trailer park in the South be a woman w/o her dentures in, roots an inch long, and no bra? Because that is the stereotype they were looking for.
