Wade. I think they still could have made the Finals without Shaq....hell, they weren't far from it in Wade's rookie season. And you see what happened in '05 when Wade got hurt in the conference finals against Detroit. Where was Shaq then?

Dwayne Wade is the mvp for the Heat. This is because they have another great center in 'Zo. He would start on most other teams, so if Shaq was gone they would still have a dominant center. But if Flash left they would not have a player to replace him with that could be just as dominant as he is.

Wade of course because he was the reason why they are champions. He bascially average 40 points a game the 4 games they won and Shaq less than 15. Wade was MVP that should answer the question.

D Wade. SHaq is getting old and he is usually injured for most of the season. I personally think that Zo should start next season and Shaq should come off the bench, for 2 reasons. Foul trouble and injuries. i think Zo is more intense, also.

both of them are important but i think d-wade is needed more by the heat... shaq is not his same dominating self anymore in the past years but he still is unstoppable at times... he can still bully defenders inside the paint and put it down... dwayne wade, in the meantime, has emerged as one of the brightest superstars in the league... he has matured a lot from his rookie season and he is capable of being a leader in his team as proven in this year's playoffs... he's the go to gut for the heat and he is virtually unguardable... if he can improve on his 3point shooting(which i feel is his only weakness) then this guy can be big...
