Admitting to using steroids or being caught using is not enough to get one banned from baseball. If he wanted to return and a team wanted him, he would be able to. I personally don't think he would be welcomed by the fans considering he has admitted cheating in the past and has made questionable accusations toward other popular players. Right now he is simply returning to an independent league, not associated with MLB. His team is the Long Beach Armada (recently traded from the San Diego Surf Dawgs). If he wants to do that, more power to him, no one really watches that stuff anyways.

it's jose canseco... he's only doing it for publicity and because he's broke. he's got too many enemies in the majors so i doubt any team would sign him. so i guess the minors is the next best thing, he can start passing the roids down there to give the young guys a chance to make the big show

He's not coming back to MLB, it's an independent league. He's probably broke since no one will buy his book anymore.
And he doesn't use steroids anymore; if he did he wouldn't have joined a league that bans players for life after a first positive test.

I agree that he should just hang it up. He's embarassing the game and himself.
