i dont know the reason terrorists bomb nations that dont matter to them like what happened in Mumbai city in India was terrible, but what did the terrorists get out of bombing a commuter train? what do they want?

Terrorists are not born. When they born they are just like any other baby. However they do not grow up like most of us. They are less studious and impatient. Initially they want to earn lot of money in short time. People like Bush and Bin Laden (and many other leaders) catches them. Provide them some knowledge what they want them to learn. Motivate them to achieve their own goal. And what not they do I am not sure ..................
Finally they get the finished product "TERRORIST" made from normal innocent man in their factory to kill many more innocent men.

Just like everyone else
why do they bomb places?
To make a statement usually political
what do they expect from it?
To attract attention to their cause, some terrorist groups even warn of the bombs planted in order to avoid victims since killing innocents it's not their agenda.
A current example of this is Al Qaeda vey few people in the world knew of their existence prior 9/11 and now almost everyone knows who Bin Laden is and that their main agenda is against the United States.

The types of devastations that Mumbai witnessed on 7/11/2006 is just one of the thousands of incidents India has gone through. Though staying in the US we get to see and hear only what the media portrays and as mentioned in http://ia.rediff.com/news/2006/jul/12nri.htm?q=tp&file=.htm , not much we can do about it sitting here; one thing that I have decided is to stop spending any of my money at any Pakistani restaurant/store which would potentially aid the ruthless acts. May be my I am very critical in my comments and I am not sure how helpful my resolution would be for the cause I have in mind; but I shall certainly not be the NRI who thinks "There is nothing I can do, and it hurts"

Terrorists are born just like anyone else. They are taught from childhood or brainwashed to think what they are doing is the right thing, Teach your children not to hate they learn from watching you.
