I have been in Choir and Music Theory and music can be defined as a melody that plays that has a particular beginning and a particular ending. That's the difference between noise and music. Noise is just sounds that don't have a particular ending. Where as music has a beginning, middle and an end. If you're not looking for a definition, then I think you could just say it might be something to dance to or whatever.
