OK ladies, I have a question about menstruation and sex drive that I am asking merely so I can understand my girlfriend better.

#1 When you have your period is your sex drive (desire for intercourse) higher or lower?
#2 What do women mean when they tell you "Its not the safe time right now" when you try to get squeezy with them?
#3 Does sex during periods feel better or worse?

I can only speak for myself...... Personally when I am menstruating my sex drive is higher. I would imagine she speaks of "safe times" because she is just trying to warn you.... I have never been against sex during that time at all, but I wouldn't want to be rejected when he got there and found blood either... I would consider that a friendly warning. And, finally sex during my period actually is alot better, it relieves my cramps and makes me feel all womanly instead of gross which is how I would feel if my hubby wouldn't touch me then. Best wishes

Just before and just after a period sex drive often peaks. Safe time is just after a period (the egg has been released) Just prior to a period is not a very safe time. And sex during periods can just feel messy and we can often not have much confidence in our bodies at this time.

I have no desire for sex during my period, way too messy and besides I'm usually achy and tired. I have only done it once during, and it hurt. You and your girlfriend should do what my husband and I do- bj week! that way you still get some but she doesn't have to give it up. Works like a charm

Depends on the woman, but I find often when I feel I want it most of course has to be during that time... Which sucks. For most woman, we hate dealing with it, it's a mess, and really don't want the awkwardness of that mess mixed with intimate stuff. For some women, it might relieve craps and for others it might make it feel worse.

The sex drive for a woman who is on her period increases dramatically.
It normally means that during that "time" she is very prone to becoming pregant.
Sex during periods feels very intense.

#1 drive is higher. Yuck factor overrides it all (it is enought to have to live with let alone play in)

#2 For me. It is a not so fresh day. Others i know it means chance of pregnancy is greater.

#3. I feel less. To much wet.

1-mine seems to get higher probally b/c ur not supose to have sex so of course i want it more
2- the not so safe time probally refers to the ovulation time middle of the way between periods(when u can get pregnate most easliy)

Personally, I won't do it during that time, I just think it's gross, so, of course, I want it more than ever. Go figure that logic... I think it's the whole forbidden fruit thing, anyhow... I can't say the orgasms are better for me, because I won't do anything, but he loves it. That time means an insane amount of oral from me... got to keep him happy somehow, ya know. Not fair to deny him because of my hangups.
