Q,
you obviously have talent, so draw everything and then some.
If you are right handed, try drawing with your left hand.
The rose you drew, try it now with you left hand.
I took a course in which I had to draw with my left hand only,
and the results, after just two weeks (of applied) time, were
simply amazing.
Don´t be afraid, and go for it.
Happy drawing!

Q, then try it with your right hand and let's see what happens --
don't give up - it takes a few tries!!!

Draw a tasteful picture of a naked woman sketching a guy in a suit. The guy in the suit should be facing the viewer. The naked woman artist should have her back to the viewer, so that we can see the work in progress on her sketch pad. Then draw a bat that, unbeknownst to her or the man in the suit, is about to swoop down and bite her on the neck. After you finish this sketch, you can draw her turning into a vampire. Good luck!

Go some place where there are people passing, a beach, a city street, a campus, a market, select a passing subjuct and draw the person as they pass. It's a challenge to capture the form, the "subject" before it's out of view. I also get a sort of kick out of "capturing" forever on paper a person who had no idea that they were becoming a little piece of visual art history.

Try sketching interesting buildings. If you look around, there are always some worth drawing. Personally, I love the older buildings with their wealth of detail. Cats are good; they'll offer you an infinite variety of poses if you watch them. Look for huge old trees that have character. That kind of thing.

I teach art,and the best way to learn to draw is to look around you,and see what is interesting to you. One of my drawing lessons involves the kids taking off their tennis shoe and drawing it with as much detail as possible. Learn to look at an object in small sections and not the whole thing. Don't assume you know what it looks like. Really look, and then you will enjoy everything you draw.

Practice drawing people. That is kinda hard to get the realness of the people in a drawing. That would be a great thing to master. Also for fun cartoon strips, or just charactors are real fun to draw.

A famous artist is known to have quipped 'Creativity is seeing what everyone does, and FINDING what no one else has in it !'
...Don't force yourself to sketch something - simply because you have to. Instead, wait until some object, or some person, inspires you to make a sketch.
You'll find that your creative appetite suddenly has plenty of goodies to feed on !
:-))
Best of Luck, dear !

Sketching what anybody can see becomes just a reproduction even if it is from mother nature.

What you can sketch is ideas from your imagination for example like how would you picture hell? or heaven? whats inside the mountain . the turmoil inside a persons mind as you percieve it.
