Do you think the USA could ever adopt such things like in the Scandanavian countries like Universal Education, Health Care and Housing, of course the taxation rates will be alot higher, but the USA will become a much more fairer and egalitarian society? or not? what is your opinion?

I seriously doubt it. Due to all the freedoms in America, many people would learn how to gain advantages over others, slowly dividing the single social class. Also, America is a very lucky country, and many people do not understand how lucky they are. Many Americans do not have to work hard to get where they are (although many others work extremely hard), and thus these "lazy" people would be a strain on society. America contains much more of these people, I believe, so an egalitarian society just wouldn't work out.

I personally hope not. America is a land of the free and opportunity for all; and that opportunity is equal for all. A society like that reduces a society and eliminates the motivation to succeed and grow.

The Democrats in this country would endear themselves to this; but they are not honest about that except perhaps in health care. Its obvious they can't be honest about it because in doing so the people would elect them out of office.

Sadly no. Anything that smacks of socialism, welfare, a hand out is reviled by conservatives. And it blows me away, because so many of the strongest Christians I know are the very people opposed to government help.

I don't understand their position on this matter at all.
