A situation in which person with many different and varying cultures (ways of living thei rlife) are brought together. Examples would be urban, rural, Arab, Jewish, Black, Hispanic, White, Asian, Native American, or other races. The maning can vary depending upon the group proclaiming it. It's a grand idea, but no practical in most situations where it is forced upon us.

Geez, cultural diversity ought to be obvious. Since that's not the case, it's about including people of many different backgrounds, experiences, and beliefs. Nowadays people are moving around the World more than ever, and the USA (for example) now has a sizeable Asian, Hispanic, African, Mid Eastern, European, and Native American population. It's truly becoming "one world", and will continue to do so. That's CULTURAL DIVERSITY in it's pure form. We can only benefit from learning about other cultures, unless someone has a racial/religeous problem about "people who are/look different".
