Sure it is or places like that wouldn't be in business very long. But you can do pretty much the same thing at home, in your own bathroom with various hair removal products, like Nair, and not to cue in on just that one, because there are several more of them out there. Just read the directions on the bottle, there at your local K-Mart, Wal-Mart, wherever, and decide for yourself. Waxing is sort of expensive, doesn't last much longer than just shaving with a good shaving cream, with skin treatments added, and you can do it yourself a lot less expensively. You might even get a "kick" out of the do it yourself process.Of course if you are looking forward to the tender love and care you might get at the hair waxing salon, you can always go for that as well. Either way, enjoy the process and ask your boyfriend if he enjoys the result too. If he says no, think about changing boyfriends really fast.

That hair on your forearms is there to protect your skin. Try the sanding pads if the hair is excessive. This circular motion gently exfoliates the hair. Under arms are a different story. I wouldn't even consider waxing my underarms, only shave under there. Be extra careful when using a chemical, if you leave it on too long you can get chemical burns, & a host of other complications. I hope this helps!

A good alternative is to just bleach your arms to make the hair less noticeable. Sally Hansen arm and leg bleach works really good. It lasts about 2 weeks.

Yes, don't do it in your arms. It's better to dye the hair.
