You and your friends are growing up. Your thoughts, ideas and attitudes change with the onset of puberty. This is a normal part of life and nothing to feel bad or ashamed about. Find new friends that have the same interests as you do. As for your dog, well, again you are growing up and the amount of time that you once had to spend with the dog is now a lot less. What you should do though is make sure that the time you do have to spend with your dog is the best! It may only be for a 1/2 hr a day, but at least the dog will know that you love him and not feel abandoned by you. They have feelings just as you do and right now I am sure your dog is wondering what he did wrong. It prob thinks you are punishing it for something. And you know, pets make the best damn listeners too! You can tell them all of your secrets and troubles and they won't tell a soul! And they will lick you and comfort you and let you know that no matter how bad it may seem, THEY STILL LOVE YOU!

All I can say is that when we are children we speak like a child and acted like a child then as we grow up we put away those childish things and ways. Some times friends do grow up with each other and the friendship continues to grow with us. However there are other times when we all get other interest and just grow apart from each other
