Back in the 60s it was called "Afro." the Black Panthers--led by Bobby Seale, a black militant group--and the early 1970s, when disco, very high platform shoes (even worn by men!), polyester clothes, and stick-on chest hair! Dull as a "frow" came to being because afro hairstyles were round with none of the spikes like you see today.

Many "underground subversives" (as the FBI called them) or "sub-culture" groups were the Chicago Seven, which consisted of

Abbie Hoffman - now deceased

Jerry Rubin - now deceased

David Dellinger -
Spoke at his last "end the drug war" rally when he was 81 years old.

Rennie Davis - Last appeared in 1996 with Tom Hayden, then Senator for California

Tom Hayden - Boyfriend of Jane Fonda when she made her Treasonous visit to the Hanoi Hilton

John Froines - Was once OSHA Director for Toxic Substances

Lee Weiner - Continued his activism -- and wore an Afro

Bobby Seale - Leader of the Black Panthers. Continues to be an activist and has his on website now!
