Computer Slow

Download and then run startup.exe at:

http://www.mlin.net/startupcpl.shtml......

Can't live without it and windows...

Then disable and/or uninstall whatever u don't need.

Other things to try:

1 - Disk Cleanup (removal of temp files, cookies, etc.)
2 - Defrag
3 - Registry Cleanup (CAN BE VERY RISKY!)

good for you by doing the virus scans
start>control panel>internet options>connections tab>
if you are using a DSL or cable ISP internet connection , do the following> click on LAN (local Area Network)
and uncheck both boxes.> the first box is automatic detect my seetings, (proxy seeting) > ok, your connection will be faster.!
get a good spyware remover, update it and scan for spyware that slows down your internet.
start run>type in misconfig>startup tab and unselect (uncheck many of the checkmarks on programs you do not want running automaticly upon start up). This will speed boot up time and you can always start them up if you want to use them. Defragmate your "C" drive.
Check for error on your C Drive by doing the following.
double click My computer from the destop>right click on "C" drive and click on the properties at the bottom.
click on tools tab.you should see errorsrestart system

Get a router which facilitates a password for use. Your internet % slows down for each computer on your router, so your pal is authentic. I propose a router extra expecive than $50. in case you purchase one in all those cheapies, they'll supply up operating in about 2-5 months. be certain you seem on-line for solid routers. after all, computer geeks stay to inform the tale routers, and we are a delightful bunch of human beings. -[.]-[.]-
