Did I miss something? Did Lebron change his mind last I heard he had a verbal agreement for 80 million. P.S. I see now what everyone is saying and it looks like Wade is changing his mind also. Maybe Carmello will follow these guys. I don't know what is going on with these millionaires I'm confused for the first time on YAHOO ANSWERS! But even though they have more money that they will ever need they're making their contracts shorter just because of the collective bargaining contract expires around that same time. But at least they are staying with their teams.

I don't think he wants to stay in Cleveland past those 3 seasons. That's why he has the option of leaving before the 4th season on the contract. If he took the 80 he would have to stay 5 additional seasons.

He thinks he might be able to get more money by signing for just three years and then evaluating the offers after that. It's a logical choice.

i think hes doing the right thing for himself because hes giving the org a chance to get some stars in there for him to play with he dont want to end up like garnett or pierce but pierces team has alot of upside and i love the c's

i think his agent is brilliant cause in 4 years he can make up to 150 million
