You should delete all those files u dnt need and never use, it happend to me before too, but when i deleted most things i had it all went so much faster!

dialup is slow, cable is fast, but shared so the more people that are on at a time the slower it will be, dsl is a dedicated speed so if it's unusually slow call your internet provider.

Do you have a ad-aware? Check your pc for spyware. its probably slowing it down..

get a t1 line or t3 its up to you and also deleate your temp internet files and sometimes a disk defrage can help two
