I actually grew up on the book and the movie since I went to Lucy Maud Montgomery Public School. Our whole school evolved around it. My House league was Ingleside. It was pretty cool. I enjoyed the book and the movie. I even enjoyed watching Road To Avonlea. Excellent question. It was a pleasant treat down memory lane. Thanks.

I did. I loved those movies growing up. Our teacher used to show them to us and I later bought them for myself. They're fantastic. I always had a crush on the actor that played Gilbert. Their relationship was so sweet. I enjoyed the most recent Anne movie, Anne of Green Gables: The Continuing Story. I wish they would make a movie from the book about her daughter, Rilla.

Have you ever seen the 1934 version of the film? Not as good as the one starring Megan Follows, but the actress who played Anne Shirley legally changed her name...to Anne Shirley! I always thought that was interesting.

I do. I have all three. I've loved the first movie for as long as I can remember. I actually love the third one even though I know a lot of die-hard fans hate it. It combines my favorite things: romance and World War I (for some reason I love studying world war I). The others are cool too but the third one really sticks out to me. Jonathan and Meagan have a lot chemistry and look really good together.

I do. I don't know. It's just a really well told story that every girl can relate to. Growing up, I called my cuz Diana and she called me anne. That doesn't reallky have anything to do wtih anything, but it was a helpful movie for girls growing up. I also have the cook book and made Raspberry cordial and yes, even though it wasn't alcoholic, I threw up. Don't try that at home.

I've never seen the movie, only read the book, but when Anne somehow dyes her hair green and she imagines herself with beautiful, flowing hair instead of focusing on the fact that she had crap green hair, I really liked that. I don't know, I had self esteem issues as a child and that helped me, I'd imagine that I looked a certain way or that my outfit looked a certain way instead of how it really did, and it helped my confidence. THANKS!

Those movies have been favorites of mine since I was a kid. The acting is great, the storyline is great. Good family films. Very touching. It's one of those movies you never want to end.
